FISC, Contracts Division, San Diego intends to place a contract with AirBorne Life Suppport System of Austin, Texas on a sole source basis for the procurement of two (2) incubator infant transports. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties who contend that they are capable of providing the incubator infant transports should submit, within 45 days from the publication of this notice, specific factual data and other pertinent information as so desired, to be used as an evaluative basis to determine competence to successfully meet the requirement. All proposals received within the 45 day notice period will be considered by the government. The government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice. Technical responses and requests received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
