Cave Springs Low Water Crossing, Coconino National Forest, Flagstaff, Arizona. This project consists of removing and disposing of an existing concrete low water crossing and paved approaches, disposal to be off of government land. Construction of a triple opening concrete low water crossing with cattleguard grade decks, paving approaches, application of painted traffic markings and furnishing and installing traffic signs and posts. The project site is approximately 12 miles north of Sedona, Arizona and approximately 16 miles south of Flagstaff, Arizona on Highway 89A. Turn west off the highway at the Cave Springs Campground sign, MP 385.9, and proceed approximately 0.3 milesto the project. Legal description: Township 19N, Range 6E, Section 27. Estimated start work date is September 7, 1995. A show-me trip will be held on June 14, 1995 at 9:00 am at project site (Note: Attendees should park at the entrance and walk to the crossing - vehicle parking is very limited).
