The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has added a fourth and fifth option year to solicitation BEP-95-66(TN) for Coil Packaging Lidding Film which was previously synopsized on April 18, 1995. The Coil Packaging Lidding Film is identified by BEP Stock Item Nuber 1L001478 and should be a rigid, unplasticized transparent film coated on one side with a heat sealable adhesive suitable for adhering to a plastic tray film. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The period of performance will be for one (1) 12-month base period plus four (4) 12-month option periods. The total estimated quantities in feet are: Base Year - 4,312,500; first option year - 5,175,000; second option year - 6,210,000; third option year - 7,452,000; and fourth option year - 8,942,400. The solicitation will be available on or about June 2, 1995. Interested firms are required to submit a written request for a copy of this solicitation. The company's size status (i.e., Large, Small, Minority, or Women-Owned) is also required along with a written request. However, firms that have already submitted written requests for this solicitation do not need to resubmit. Telephone requests will not be honored.
