Groundwater Technology Government Services, Inc. a prime contractor uner control DLA600-92-C-5305 intends to issue a request for proposals for the Construction of Remediation system at the Defense Fuel Supply Point in Norwalk, California. The anticipated work shall consist of the following major activities: Installation of horizontal & vertical Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) Wells, Installation of groundwater and total fluids recovery wells and associated pumping equipment, installation of several thousand feet of recovery system trenches and associated piping systems, installation of concrete treatment system pad, installation of seveal hundred feet of horizontal borings beneath roadways, installation and start-up of remediation system equipment, installation of electrical power supply, starter rack, conduit, connection of system and electrical start-up. Remediation system equipment to be procurred includes: pneumatic and electrical recovery pumps, thermal oxizidizers, air strippers, liquid and vapor phase Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) units, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) motor starters, electrical conduit and PVC piping systems.
