202/435-7138 The U. S. Secret Service intends to negotiate, on a sole
source basis with Kaman Sciences Corporation, Colorado Springs, CO, for
the purchase of fifteen (15) Executive Protective Kits, Model EPK-5.
Drawings are under copyright as of June 1992, therefore, no drawings
are available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive
proposals. Interested companies must submit information identifying
their capability to provide protective kits that are portable, composed
of an RF transmitter/alarm and receiver with magnetic switches, passive
infrared motion detectors, cameras and monitors, and hand-held panic
alarms. This information will be considered only if clear and
convincing documentation, including technical, pricing information, and
references showing history of Federal contracts for like or similar
equipment, is received by this office within fifteen (15) calendar days
after publication of this notice. A determination whether to conduct a
competitive procurement, based on respnses received to this synopsis
will be at the sole discretion of the Government. Only written requests
for the solicitation will be considered. No telephonic requests will be
accepted. Sol. No. USSS-95-19 to be issued 15 calendar days after
synopsis date; with a 30-day response time. Equipment to be delivered
