PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supplies, equipment, materials and transportation to repair bituminous pavement roads and parking lots. Work includes but is not limited to cutting and patching approximately 710 SY of pavement, providing approximately 98,700 LF of pavement markings, reclamation, micro-surfacing, sealing and removal of approximately 450 LF of curbing. All work is at Otis Air National Guard Base, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Performance period is 56 days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 and the project is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested 8(a), SDB, ESB, and Small Businesses should notify this office, in writing, of their interest to bid the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 30 May 1995. All written responses must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern under SIC Code 1611, ''Highway and Street Construction, Except Elevated Highways''. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all business concerns regardless of business size or status. Solicitation packages are not yet available but are expected to be released on/about 20 June 1995. See Note 6. (0132)
