Administrator (518) 395-4567. OPTICAL INTERFERENCE FILTERS - KAPL is
seeking sources with expertise in optical interference filter
technology including experience with Si/SiO deposition or experience
with other material system(s) with index of refraction difference Delta
Index of Refraction greater than or equal to 1.0. Sources should
possess capability which could be developed to meetthe following
interference filter requirements: (1) greater than or equal to 95%
average transmittance in the region of 1.2 - 2.2 microns, (2) greater
than or equal to 97% average reflectance in the region 2.2 - 4.4
microns, (3) 50% reflectance value between 2.15 - 2.25 microns, and (4)
source angle of incidence designed for non-polarized light at 45
degrees. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only

to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does
not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
Firms possessing the capabilities to meet these objectives should
submit information pertaining to these capabilities to. Information
supplied shall include as a minimum past experience, identification of
existing equipment and facilities, and other data pertaining to the
aforementioned requirements. Vendors are invited to submit a written
indication of interest, to be postmarked no later than fifteen (15)
