contract is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit
with limited sources under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Limited
Sources, FAR 6.302-1(b)(2). Supply being procured is Display Terminal
Modified NSN: 7025-01-333-0762, Magnavox P/N 209550-801 (is a Data
Watch Model 220 Tempest Display Unit with Magnavox EMI Modification
applied), 12 Each with 0% Option, P/O DECS-CC. Limited sources to
include Magnavox Electronic Systems Company, Torrance CA and Secure
Systems Group, Wilmington MA. The aformentioned companies are the end
item manufacturer/actual manufacturer of the display terminal and
capable of performing the needed alteration/modification. However, all
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
the angency. There is no procurement history available for this item.
Aperture cards regarding display unit and modification, for companies
other than the aformentioned, are available through written request
only to the attention of the Contract Specialist. Please state
''Request for Drawings'' on your request. The U.S. ARMY COMMUNICATIONS
ELECTRONICS COMMAND (CECOM) has established an Electronic Bulletin
Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals
(RFP's) and Invitation for Bids (IFB's) from Government to Industry.
EFFECTIVE 1 OCTOBER 1994, All SOLICITATIONS ISSUED FORM FT. MONMOUTH
FOR ACQUISITIONS OVER The SMALL PURCHASE THRESHOLD WILL BE SOLICITED
VIA THE EBB. AFTER 1 OCTOBER 1994 ONLY THOSE PARTIES WHO Do NOT HAVE
THE EQUIPMENT NECESSARY To ACCESS THE EBB WILL BE FORWARDED HARD COPIES
UPON REQUEST. HOWEVER, As OF 1 JANUARY 1995 HARD COPIES WILL NO LONGER
BY DISTRIBUTED. (Exceptions are Post, Camp and Station acquisitions.)
All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited
to access, opertate, send and receive data from the CECOM EBB system.
To become a user of the EBB you will need an identification code and
password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary
hardware and software to interface with the EBB system. Detailed
information regarding system requirements is contained in the U.S. Army
CECOM EBB User's Manual. A User's Manual, Identification Code and
Password will be issued upon request. All requests muyst include 1)
Company Name, 2) point(s) of contact name(s) and title(s), 3) return
address(es), and 4) telephone number(s). Please send your request in
