19 -- LEASE OF FLOATING DRYDOCK YFD-70 SOL N00024-95-R-8202 DUE 071495 POC Jon Hall, Contracting Officer, 703-602-6911. The Naval Sea Systems Command will issue a solicitation for the lease of Floating Dock YFD-70 to a U.S. Port Authority or U.S. owned, operated and licensed firm engaged in shipbuilding, ship repair, and/or overhaul work within the United States its territories, possessions and Puerto Rico. The Dry Dock will be leased on an ''as is, where is'' basis for use at the Lessee's site. The Lessee must take delivery and is responsible for all costs associated with preparing the YFD-70 for tow and towing the YFD-70 from its current location to its approved site. In addition to the normally required levels of insurance, the Lessee shall provide suitable insurance for risk of loss to the YFD-70 while in transit. The Lessee also must obtain and maintain Navy certification of the YFD-70 for the duration of the Lease at their own expense and without alteration or modification of the dry dock. Dry dock drawings and technical manuals for all systems and dock equipment are available for prospective offerors review aboard the YFD-70 at Todd Pacific Shipyard Corporation, Seattle, WA.
