U -- GLOBAL TRAINING FOR DEVELOPMENT POC Contact Sherry Harless, 703/875-1093/Contracting Officer, Rosella Marshall, 703/875-1132 USAID intends to competitively award up to five contracts for individual or group participant training related services in late 1995. Services to clients will include an integrated package of participant support services that incorporates in- country services such as training program development, related training needs assessment, trainee selection, documentation, logistical support, and post-training follow-on programs, as well as U.S. (or third country) placement and monitoring services. Contractor will also be expected to provide technical assistance in other training related matters. At this time USAID will provide the draft statement of work to interested parties for questions and comments. The draft statement of work will be available on 16 May 1995. Interested parties may request a hard copy either by mail or by fax at (703) 875-1107. USAID will make this draft statement of work available on the INTERNET.
