This project consists of (a) the replacement of three (3) 100-ton split system remote air cooled chillers, including compressors/evaporators, condensers, associated pumps, piping, controls and mountings. (b) Removal of 40-ton split system remote air cooled chiller and all associated equipment. (This equipment will not be replaced.) (c) Replacement of built-up roof with membrane roofing system, in area of condensers. This includes a new polyisobutylene (P.I.B.) or EQUAL roofing system and polyisocyanurate rigid insulation. Provide new gutter, edge, and down spout, walk pads and pitch pans. Provide new flashing at all roof penetrations. (d) Insulation on piping that is to be removed has been tested by the Government and found to contain asbestos. Project includes removal and disposal of asbestos prior to demolition per all applicable federal, state, and local/KSC regulation. Magnitude of project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
