Synopsis Number: 0189-95--The U.S. Army Missile Command intends to procure Depot Maintenance Plant Equipment (DMPE) for repair of the AVENGER Automatic Video Tracker and components. The hardware will be procured under a Firm Fixed price Contract Line Item Number (CLIN); and the engineering services effort will be procured under a Cost Plus Fixed Fee CLIN. The basic contract will be awarded for the procurement of hardware, spares and 1673 manhours of engineering services. The contract will also contain a 1673 manhour option for the second year, plus a 2000 manhour range option that will be exercised, if required. The period of performance of the contract is 24 months from contract award. The AVENGER TDP contains limited and proprietary rights to Boeing and their subcontractors. The Automatic Video Tracker, part number 319310-2, is a subassembly of the AVENGER Weapon System and is produced by DBA, a subcontractor to Boeing. The engineering drawings and other technical data required to effect repair of the Automatic Video Tracker are protected by ''Limited Rights'' statement. Therefore, DBA is the only source available that has the test equipment and procedures capable of performing depot level repairs to unserviceable Automatic Video Trackers.
