PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supplies, equipment, materials and transportation to reconstruct and extend the existing sanitary sewer main serving the buildings on Tank Destroyer Boulevard. The job consists of 2280 linear feet of 10-inch gravity sewer and 475 linear feet of 4-inch force main. Project includes excavation, backfill and repaving. All work is at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts. Performance period is 90 days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000 and the project is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested 8(a), SDB, ESB's and Small Businesses should notify this office, in writing, of their interest to bid the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 18 May 1995. All written responses must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern under SIC Code 1623, Water, Sewer, Pipeline & Communication and Power Line Construction. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all business concerns regardless of business size or status.
