Z -- RENOVATIONS TO RECREATION CENTER AND CLUB FACILITES, BUILDING 106 SOL N62477-95-B-2532 POC Susan Staples, Procurement Assistant and Robert E Dungan, 703/663- 8671. The work includes but is not limited to: Demolish existing walls, doors, floor coverings, concrete floor section, wall coverings, ceilings, interior trim, identify and remove all asbestos or lead paint contraining materials and all associated appurtenances. Provide new walls, wall coverings, carpet, doors, ceiling systems, floor joists, subflooring, carpet, ceramic floor tile, ceramic wall tile, decorative ceilings, seating booths, chair rails, crown moulding, oak wainscot, exterior awning with sign and all items and appurtenances to provide a complete and useable handicap accessable facility. Demolish existing air handling equipment, ductwork, piping, pumps, thermostats, diffusers and all existing HVAC appurtenances. Provide new air handlers, thermostats, duct work, diffusers and all associated appurtenaces to provide and secure a complete and useable HVAC system. The existing building is protected with an automatic sprinkler system. The existing system shall be modified as required due to new construction to meet all applicable codes. Demolish existing interior electrical wiring including devices back to source. Provide complete new interior electrical system including but not limited to new main distribution panelboards, feederpanel boards, wiring, conduit, lighting, receptacles, switches, and exterior sign lighting. New communications conduits and junction boxes. Provide complete sound, light and video dance area and entertainment system. It is anticipated plans and specifications will be available in May 1995 and bid opening will be in June 1995. The estimated cost for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This project is advertised on an unrestricted basis. Copies of plans and specifications are limited and will be distributed on a first come first served basis.
