A -- ASYMMETRY SENSOR TEST SETS (ASTS) WITH DATA SOL N68335-95-R-0227 DUE 062095 POC Joseph A. Campanaro Code 2131JC, (908) 323-7465. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Divsion Lakehurst (NAWCLKE) intends to purchase the development and manufacture of the Asymmetry Sensor Test Set (ASTS) along with the associated data from Northrup-Grumman on a sole source basis. The manufacture and development of the ASTS shall be in accordance with the System Segment Specification 481600-0007 and the Statement of Work. There will be a requirement to manufacture 2 first article units and 18 production units; giving a total of 20 units purchased. NAWCADLKE proposes to negotiate a firm fixed price contract with a 100% option for more units. Technical publications will be provided via an existing contract between NATSF and Northrup-Grumman. ASTS will be used to test the asymmetry of the flaps and slats of the F-14 aircraft. This test set is critical for safety of flight. Delivery of the production units will be expected 720 days after contract award or 90 days after approval of tech eval; whichever comes later. (0124)
