Work consists of drilling new monitoring wells to different depths in a cluster of three wells per job site. The first well is planned to be completed to a depth of 3,000 feet. Wells may be deepened to 4,600 feet, depending upon analytical results which will be evaluated when the initial depth is reached. A second cluster of three wells may be drilled. The additional wells be Options on the price schedule. The Option wells may be a shallower depth. The completion of the Option wells will be dependent upon results established by the drilling and logging of the base requirement. All work will be accomplished at the Nevada Test Site, Area 20, approximately 125 miles northwest of Las Vegas, NV. The evaluation factors for this procurement are: Company experience, personnel experience, equipment and price. For the purpose of this procurement, technical evaluation is more important than price. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all Options to the total price for the basic requirement. Evaluation of the options will not obligate the Government to exercise the options. This procurement action is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
