Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS) Point Mugu, CA intends to solicit on an other-than-competitive basis with Hughes Aircraft Co., Radar Systems Group, P.O. Box 92426, Los Angeles, CA 90009-2426 for engineering service support for F-14 aircraft radar systems. Hughes Aircraft Co. is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the primary sensor and its radar in all F-14 models. Scope of work includes design and development of radar system enhancements, maintenance of radar instrumentation for F-14 flight test aircraft and laboratories, maintenance and repair of radar assets and technical support for design and development of all radar system changes associated with each Operational Flight Program (OFP). The proposed contract type is time and materials indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ). Tasks will be ordered on individual delivery orders. Period of performance will be for 48 months from date of award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 22. (0123)
