The Air Base Systems Division of the Weapons, Air Base and Range Product Support Office intends to issue RFP No. F08626-95-R-0234 for the purpose of acquiring competitively fifteen (15) each hydraulically driven submersible fuel recovery pumps to extract trapped fuel from disabled fuel storage tanks, two (2) options with indefinite quantities of a minimum quantity of two (2) and a maximum quantity of 42 Fuel Scavenging Units, and two (2) recommended spare parts list. Options are anticipated to be exercised at contract award or within two (2) years after contract award. This procurement is not an Invitation for Bid (IFB), however, it has been determined that a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) is deemed appropriate. Anticipated RFP release date is 18 May 95.
