Tel:713-483-5784 The NASA Johnson Space Center solicits
options/alternatives to provide routine aircraft service to Moscow,
Russia from Houston, Texas. This intended service is to provide
twice-monthly flights to and from said destination and each flight must
accomodate up to approximately 100 people plus baggage and cargo. NASA
is also looking for options in regard to usage of major airports in
the Moscow area (such as Vnukovo or Sherametovo). Air travel route will
typically be from Houston to Washington, DC to Moscow and return.
Responders must provide in their plan the following detailed items and
costs for such items: (a) designate origination site from Houston
(Ellington Field, William P. Hobby Airport, Houston Intercontinental
Airport). (b) stopover facility in Washington DC (specify savings if
stopover is deleted on some flights) (c) What flight facility in Moscow
would be most appropriate (customs on the facility is a requirement)?
(d) type of aircraft proposing (e) How would ground handling of the
aircraft be handled? (f) What type of in-flight service can be offered?
(g) What type of seating options are available? (h) specification and
proof of insurance needed (i) cancellation of flight provisions Should
NASA require these services, the stated services would be contracted
on a yearly basis, (1 year base and 4 options). For questions and
