Institute for Literacy (NIFL) to ''provide a toll-free long distrance
telephone line for literacy providers and volunteers. The Department of
Education is assisting the National Institute for literacy by serving
as the acceptance office for proposals to this solicitation. The
toll-free line shall operate as a literacy information hotline to: (1)
answering queries from citizens; (2) disseminate Institute-related
printed materials. The Contractor sball establish and operate a 1-800
telephone hotline. RFP-95-038 will be issued on or about May 15, 1995
with an anticipated closing date of June 15, 1995. When calling, be
prepared to state name, address, and solicitation number. Telephone
requests should be placed by calling (202) 708-6498. Written requests
should be sent to above address given. Copies may be picked up after
