The design work involves the replacement of two air handling units and exhaust fans, modification of HVAC ductwork and components to provide proper ventilation in patient areas to meet HVAC design criteria and CDC guidelines; implementation of direct digital control of the modified systems; and removal of asbestos containing materials in plumbing and HVAC systems. The estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. The area of consideration is restricted to concerns within a 100 mile radius of Chicago, Illinois.
