Fernald Environmental Restoration Management Corporation (FERMCO), the Environmental Restoration Management Contractor under Contract No. DE-AC24-920R21972 for the U.S. DOE's Fernald Environmental Management Project (FEMP), is seeking interested QUALIFIED SOURCE(S) to provide one (1) Industrial Lift Truck. This request is for development of a solicitation list only. There is no solicitation at this time. This lift truck shall have the capacity to lift minimum 52,000 pounds at 48'' load center and have pneumatic tires a 17'' wheelbase. Each lift truck shall also have the following specifications. UPRIGHT - MAST: Mast: 11' lift height, two stage telescopic with center mounted lift cylinders. 146'' overall height lowered (forks on ground). 212'' overall height raised Carriage: 100'' wide, type C, fully adjustable forks with Hydraulic Fork Positioner and sideshift (total 18'' sideshift, 9'' each way). Mass Tilt: 15 degrees forward, 12 degrees back. FORK SPACING: 3-3/4'' x 11-1/2'' x 96'' long container forks. ENGINE: Diesel water cooled, minimum 504 cu. in. displacement, 210 gross horse power at 2000 rpm; low oil pressure and high temperature cut off. STABILITY: Shall comply with ANSI B56.1. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: 12 volt system with highest capacity alternator and dust proof starter; low oil pressure an high temperature cut off. TRANSMISSION: 3-speed with electrical shift and automatic power shift control, full reversing transmission, with gear ration designed for lift truck application. All shafts shall be mounted on tapered roller, bearings and all gears in constant mesh. Control lever shall be electrical with an electronic lock-out to prevent direction changes until truck has slowed to proper speed. Clutch pack shall be designed so unit can be operated in any gear under full engine power. Transmission shall be equipped with a full time full flow filtration system. Transmission oil for lubrication and hydraulic circuit shall flow through separate air to oil cooler. AIR FILTER - FUEL SYSTEM: Two stage dry type air cleaner with Foundry Pack filtering system with vertical air intake. OPERATOR STATION - CAB: Unit shall be equipped with a fully enclosed all weather cab with noise reduction insulation, tinted windows, front, top and rear wipers, heater, defroster and locking doors, strobe light, 2 front and 2 rear work lights. INSTRUMENTS: Engine oil pressure gauge, water temperature gauge, Hobbs hour meter, voltmeter, transmission temperature and oil pressure gauges, fuel lever gauge, combination key-type ignition and starter switch, push-pull diesel fuel shut-off for normal shut down. STEERING: Hydrostatic power steering, spindles mounted in preloaded, sealed tapered roller bearings. BRAKES: Air-actuated brake system, disc type. Largest type for this unit with reserve pressure tank for a limited number of power assisted stops without engine power. Unit shall also be equipped with an air dryer (for air brakes system). A spring applied air pressure parking brake shall be installed on unit. Indicator on dash shall show when brake is on. TIRE SIZE: Tires: Dual Drive: 14.00 x 24-20PR off road. Steer: 14.00 x 24-20PR off road. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM: Dual gear-type hydraulic pump connected to transmission and crankshaft. 71 gallon hydraulic tank, two full-time flow 25 micrometer hydraulic filters inside tank, two speed hoist. ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT: The unit(s) shall also be furnished witha Vertical Air Intake, Low Air Pressure Warning Device, Cold Start - 110 volt engine block heater, and T-Bar seat, Audible backup warning alarm.
