582-5706 Work consists of construction of mooring facilities at
Markland, Newburgh and Uniontown Locks and Dams. Each site requires
excavation and sheetpile installation, as well as a docking facility
for Corps of Engineers workboats. The waste excavation and/or dredged
materials may be placed in the river at specified sites or on specified
upland sites. All material excavated above ordinary high water
(Markland-El.455, Newburgh- El.363.5 and Uniontown-EL.344) should be
placed in the specified upland sites. Estimated value - $1,000,000 to
$5,000,000. Solicitation to be issued o/a 17 May 95, and may be
obtained by submitting a check payable to the U.S. Army Engineer
District, Louisville, in the amount of $47.00 for half-size plans and
specifications and/or $64.00 for full-size plans and specifications.
