Solicitation--indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity job order contract for repair, renovation, and construction projects at, South Dakota Air National Guard, Joe Foss Field, Sioux Falls, SD. The contract will be an indefinite quantity type contract and will list a wide variety of individual construction tasks. For each identified construction task, a proposal will be requested and an individual delivery order will be issued. The Contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish the delivery order. The awarded Contractor will be required to have a permanently manned office within 25 miles of Sioux Falls, SD, with a person who is authorized to receive, negotiate and sign Delivery Orders (DO), receive and initiate contract correspondence and provide other construction management services related to accomplish individual delivery orders. Delivery orders will vary in size, with the majority expected to be of a small to medium size. The delivery orders will include tasks in a variety of trades, such as carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, interior/exterior electrical, steam fitting, HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, fencing, asbestos abatement, demolition, environmental clean-up, concrete, masonry, and welding. The Contractor will be required to perform a minimum of 20 percent of the work with its own employees. The minimum guaranteed value of this Contract is $5,000. The maximum cost for each delivery order is $300,000 with a maximum of $1 million per year ($5 million possible - 1 year plus 4 option years). Bid documents will be available o/a 19 May 1995 and bid opening set for 22 June 1995. The approximate start date is 2 Aug 1995. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Codes are, but not limited to, 1541 and 1542. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more than $17 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. Your written request must state your business size.
