Fitzsimons Army Medical Center has a requirement for one (1) medical waste sterilizer system, an Ongard Medical WasteClave Model with a single door, or equal. Required salient features include, but are not limited to the following: 1) Must be a steam sterilizer system with stainless steel chambers, and stainless steel or other equally durable material for the jacketing; 2) The pressure vessel must have inside dimensions of at least 36'' x 48'' x 72'', must be loaded and unloaded from a single door, must be certified to ASME Code, 316L Construction, and must fit within the available space at Fitzsimons; 3) The operational system shall include a high performance vacuum pump system with valves being air operated and all interlocks National Board certified; 4) The controller shall be programmable with easily read alpha and numerical printer and display. 5) The display and printer shall be capable of printing the following information: cycling time, key transition points, cycle summary and temperature log; 6) The system must be able to operate for a minimum of an eight (8) hour period without electricity if the power supply is temporarily cut off (may offer a gas generator or UPS); 7) Must have a compressor capable of 1/4'' NPT, 125 PSI Min, 7 SCFM; 8) The loading system shall have at least one inner cart and have an external transfer carriage system; 9) System shall have a one year warranty on parts and labor and at least a five year warranty on the pressure vessel; 10) All services and supplies/equipment for installation and any necessary testing shall be provided by the Contractor and result in a fully functioning system upon completion of installation. Two sets of technical data consisting of operating instructions, maintenance and calibration procedures, schematics A/O wiring diagrams and a repair parts list shall also be provided. The system must be capable of using the utilities available on site, which are: Power: 3-Phase -208V, Single Phase -110V; Steam: 65 PSI Average, 2 inch line; and Water: Capable of a peak of 20 GPM, 2 inch line. Delivery is to be FOB DESTINATION, 120 days ARO, with installation to be completed within 30 days of receipt.
