Dias, (904)232-3737 The project consists of the removal and disposal of approximately 60 beach barriers (horned scullies). The existing structures consist of concrete and steel beams and are located along the coast line, just offshore between Fort Pierce in St. Lucie County, FL, and adjoining Vero Beach in Indian River County, FL. Demolition and removal operations shall be conducted from offshore to avoid distrubance to the environmentally sensitive upland areas. Disposal of structures and debris will be at an approved upland location. IFB DACW17-95-B-0034 will be available on or about 15 May 95 and bid opening will be on or about 15 Jun 95. This acquisition is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. (0111)
