Cabral, Contracting Officer at (401) 841-2442 X279 This requirement is to fabricate and test Retrofit Kits (External or Internal Configuration) to upgrade the Mk660 MOD 1 Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to the Mk660 MOD 2 ATE. A copy of the applicable performance specification drawings is available on a hard-floppy disk(s)- CD ROM format at a non-refundable price of $1,500. . The disk(s) will work on an IBM Compatible Personal Computer (PC) and the software to read the files will also be contained on the disk. Anticipate issuing an Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity type contract with Firm Fixed Price provisions. The minimum guarantee is for the fabrication and testing of 14 External Retrofit Kits. Additional Retrofit Kits and Initial Outfitting Spares will be ordered under individual Delivery Orders. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded to that responsible offeror submitting a technically acceptable proposal with the lowest price. Technical acceptability will be determined in accordance with the evaluation factors, based on information submitted in response to the provision in Section L entitled, L34 - Technical Proposal - Complex Item. In order to be determined technically acceptable, the offeror must be technically acceptable in each of the following areas identified by the evaluation factors: (1) Technical Approach and (2) Management Approach. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing on company letterhead. Include in request your name, address, telephone, size of business, cage code and the solicitation number. The check for the disk(s) must be made payable to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport Division and must be included with the request for the solicitation.
