Description of Project: Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to replace approximately 1,500 livestock gates at various Hardened Intersite Cable System (HICS) crossings. Work includes reconstructing new barbed wire gates and/or wire mesh gates and replacing gate posts. The work to be performed will be in various locations of the missile site complex in the vicinity of Malmstrom AFB MT. Tentative opening date is 8 Jun 95. The invitation for bid number is F24604 95 B0003. Any resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price with a Notice to Proceed to be issued on or about 9 May 95 with a performance period of 970 calendar days thereafter. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation will be issued to prospective offerors on a first-come, first-served basis when requested in writing. This project is open competition, large and small, in accordance with the Small Business competitiveness Demonstration Program.
