The work is to upgrade an elevator at Dale Hollow Power Plant, Clay County, Tennessee. The project consists of installing a new fire service hall station and replacing the following: hoistway door controls, hoistway door and operating machinery, elevator car gate control and operating machinery, elevator controls, four hall pushbutton stations, car operating panel, hoistway wiring, car governor wire rope, and leveling control device. Load tests and overspeed safety tests shall be performed as required by ANSI Standards. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations. The duration of the job is 180 days after receipt of the notice to proceed and is estimated to be in the $25,000.00 to $100,000.00 range. Bid documents will be available on or about 11 May 1995 at a cost of $10.00 per set. SIC Code is 1796.
