The work to be performed includes the following features but not limited to these: Removal of all existing Storm windows where new are scheduled to be installed. Removal of all existing glazing material and glass which is cracked, loose or otherwise deteriorated and installation of new where Storm units are to be installed. Repair and replacement of deteriorated wooden window members. Painting of existing windows as indicated and specified where new Storm units are to be installed. Existing windows have lead-based paint. Installation of new Storm windows as scheduled and detailed on the drawings and as herein specified. Replacement of prime window units. Submittal of certified laboratory testing of Storm windows, and other submittals as herein specified including warranties. Field testing for air leakage. The general outline of the principal features does not in any way limit the responsibilities of the contractor to perform the work under thiscontract. Estimated magnitude between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Type of KT: Firm-fixed price construction. Performance period is 120 days after receipt of notice to proceed.
