Fax No. 617-377-1156. This synopsis amends previous announcement, Issue No. PSA-1280; Thursday, February 9, 1995. This project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing clean room structure with a prefabricated Class 100 at Bldg 1123 located on Hanscom AFB, MA. The principle items of work include, but are not limited to the following: providing design services, labor, consulting services, materials, and equipment as required for retrofitting and upgrading the existing Class 100 and Class 10,000 Clean Room in Bldg 1123. Selection criteria include: price, knowledge of requirements, construction methods, a coordination of all systems required to design and construct the clean rooms, management, organization, personnel and experience of those involved, and a preliminary schedule. The prime contractor must be a a clean room installer that is certified by the manufacturer of the pre-fabricated cleanroom and will be required to perform no less than thirty percent (30%) of the total contract with their own personnel. An exclusionary period will not be applied to the work. The magnitude for the entire project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
