The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to procure 216,300 (if options are exercised) manhours of engineering and technical services for changes and upgrades to ships under construction contracts and design budgeting of proposed upgrades to DDG 51 Class Ships in follow flights in support of the DDG 51 Class AEGIS Destroyer Program. The proposed contract will have a base year of 72,100 manhours with two option years consisting of 72,100 manhours for each option.
