The work which may be performed includes but may not be limited to the following minimum items: 1. Clean and Test Grid Coolers 2. Preserve Tender Transducer 3. Preserve Barge Transducer 4. Overhaul, Renew, and Test Valves 5. Inspect Valves In-place 6. Remove, Inspect, Renew Various Components, and Install New Rudder Assemblies 7. Inspect and Test Deck Fittings and Chain Stopper 8. Preserve Barge Deck 9. Clean and Inspect Fuel Diesel Fuel Tanks 10. Preserve Entire Underwater Body-Tender 11. Preserve Entire Underwater Body-Barge 12. Clean and Preserve Sewage Collection Tank 13. Renew Corrosion Preventive Zinc Anodes 14. Provide Temporary Messing-Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 15. Provide Temporary Berthing 16. Provide Temporary Logistics (70 days) 17. Routine Drydocking 18. USCGC HAMMER's availability is scheduled for on or about 07 August 1995. The performance period is seventy (70) calendar days. Large and Small Businesses are encouraged to submit bids. Yard Availability has a Geographic Restriction from Tampa, FL. to Philadelphia, PA. via Intra Coastal Waterways (ICW). Work is to be performed at the contractor's facility. Solicitation (IFB) is anticipated to be issued on or about 15 May, 1995. There will be a non-refundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the United States Coast Guard for requested drawings and publications.
