The Anchorage Alaska Area Mobility Projects consist of three systems to be installed at two area bases: The Outbound Baggage Conveyor System in Bldg 32-233 at Elmendorf AFB, AK will consist of a slider-bed conveyor system, operator platform, scissors lift, 463L gravity roller conveyor, and modular building. The WRM Mobility Storage System in Bldg 21-882 at Elmendorf will consist of pallet racking to store 463L aircraft pallet loads of material. A Mobility Bag Storage System in Bldg 23 at Kulis ANG Base, AK will consist of a mezzanine, slider-bed conveyor system, bin shelving units, gravity roller conveyor components, and movable high density shelving unit. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposed development phase of this acquisition.
