W -- LEASE/WITH OPTION TO BUY A 10 TON CARRY DECK CRANE SOL DACW57-95-B-0042 DUE 060295 POC Contract Specialist, GAIL SCHULTZ, (503)326-4078 The Contractor shall provide, deliver, and pick up as needed a wheel mounted, self propelled carry deck crane with hydraulic telescoping boom and a ten ton (20,000 lb.) capacity. The crane shall be designed and constructed in accordance with ANSI B 30.5 (1989) Mobile and Locomotive Cranes. The crane may be new or used and shall be 1994 or newer with less than 500 hours of use on the hour meter. All maintenance of the crane shall be performed by the contractor with the exception of lubrication, fueling, and checking of fluid levels. Due to critical use of this crane, the service and repair facility must be within a 125 mile radius to facilitate timely repairs. F.O.B. destination at the East end of The Dalles Dam Powerhouse area, The Dalles, Oregon. Period of performance is for a one year period from date of award with four option years. Contract will also include option to purchase at end of each option year. Actual lease time during the one year period will be on an as needed basis with a minimum guarantee of three months. IFB available on or about May 2, 1995 at no charge. Tentative bid opening date is June 2, 1995. This project is open to both large and small businesses, the size standard for which is a concern, including affiliates, having average annual sales or receipts for its preceding three fiscal years not in excess of $3.5 million.
