AMRAAM Technical Support. Sources are sought for technical support of Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) to support AMRAAM production. This acquisition is contemplated sole source to Hughes Missile Systems Company, P.O. Box 11337, Tucson AZ 85734-1337, design agent and developer of the AMRAAM. The support activities and deliverables include, but are not limited to the following: a. Software support to include maintenance/upgrade of production (e.g., tactical), guidance section station and final acceptance station (Fully Automatic System Test (FAST)) software. b. Maintenance and modification of test station (non- production) and simulation facilities, to include Government and contractor hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) facility maintenance and operation, and Government simulation hardware updates. c. Test and aircraft integration (United States Air Force, United States Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries) to include field test team support and special test assets for captive carry tests, and aircraft integration support to include chairing/hosting the AMRAAM interface Control Working Group (ICWG) and participation in technical interface meetings. d. Technical Data Package Maintenance to include the maintenance and update of the AMRAAM Technical Data Package. e. Integrated logistics support to include the update/maintenance of the AMRAAM Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR), LSAR-generated provisioning documentation, support equipment recommendation data and test requirements documents, technical publications (i.e., technical orders), and level of repair analysis (LORA). f. FMS support to include FMS software, test and aircraft integration, integrated logistics support, to include technical publications. A qualified offeror must demonstrate his indepth understanding of the AMRAAM program by providing statements of capability to perform the above described AMRAAM specific requirements. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small or small disadvantaged business. Requests for Proposals will be distributed to only qualified contractors who, in the sole judgment of the Government Contracting Officer, possess the capability and expertise to accomplish this requirement. Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made nor will evaluation of information provided be given. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of this acquistion. Potential offerors should use established channels to request information, pose questions, and voice concerns before resorting to use of the Ombudsman.
