70 -- SOFTWARE LICENSES SOL N66604-95-R-E111 DUE 060895 POC Contact Joseph Masterson, Contracting Officer at (401) 841- 2442 X290 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport plans to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Los Altos Technologies Inc., Los Altos California for acquisition of a license (five copies) for Unishred Pro Software. This software package will be used to declassify hard disk drives for UNIX based workstations. At the present time, this is the only known software package that is approved by the Defense Investigative Service (DIS) and DOD for declassifying hard disk drives. Any alternative sources that wish to be considered by the Government must have obtained similar approval. The license will authorize NUWCDIVNPT to copy their product for use on four hundred (400) UNIX workstations over a four year period. Software shall be supplied on 3 1/2'' disks, and any upgrades to the product will be provided to NUWCDIVNPT at no additional charge for the first year. At least five copies of all printed documentation is also required. Delivery will be within thirty days after contract award. Any sources that believe they have the capability to meet the Government's minimum requirements are invited to submit cost and technical information for Government review.
