70 -- OFFICE AND TRAINING EQUIPMENT FOR GOSATOMNADZOR (GAN) OF RUSSIA SOL RS-AED-95-278 DUE 061595 POC Mary H. Mace, Contracting Officer, 301/415-7314/ Stephen Pool, Contract Specialist, 301/415-8168 The Nuclear Regulatory Commission intends to purchase various office supplies and equipment for direct delivery to the Don Region of Gosatomnadzor (GAN) of Russia located in Novovoronege, Russia. The contractor shall deliver all supplies which will consist of office furniture, office equipment such as copy machines and facsimile machines, training equipment such as overhead projectors, a slide projector and a video camera, computer equipment such as desktop personal computers, scanners, laptop personal computers, printers, various commercial software, books, and office consumable supplies. The contractor shall install, set-up and test all equipment including burn-in of all computer equipment. The contractor shall also train GAN personnel on the basic operation of all supplied equipment and the correct installation of provided supplies. The contractor shall provide a one-year on-site warranty for all parts and labor on all office, training and computer equipment after acceptance with an option to extend the on-site warranty for an additional year. The Contractor shall also provide two options for additional quantities of consumable supplies. The delivery time for the initial equipment and supplies will be 60 days after contract award with installation, set-up, burn-in and training to be completed 75 days after award. The delivery time for the two options for additional consumable supplies will be 30 days after exercise of the option. Due to the need for complete compatibility with existing software at GAN and the NRC and due to in-house training capabilities, the following software items are specified in the solicitation by brand name only: Microsoft DOS 6 copies, WordPerfect 5.2 for Windows 1 copy, WordPerfect 6.0 for DOS 6 copies, Canvas for Windows, Paradox for Windows 6 copies, Paradox SQL for Novell 1 copy, Paradox Engine 1 copy, FoxPro for Windows 2.5 Distribution Kit 1 copy, FoxPro Library Construction Kit 1 copy, FoxGraph 1 copy, Adobe Photoshop 2 copies, Microsoft Windows (Cyrillic) Version 3.11 6 copies, Microsoft Windows Software Development Kit 1 copy, Microsoft Windows Device Driver Kit 1 copy, Microsoft System Journal technical journal - 1 year subscription, Microsoft Developer Network Level 2 - 1 year subscription, Microsoft Test for Windows 1 copy, Borland C++1 copy, Object Windows Library 1 copy, Turbo Prolog for Windows 1 copy, Object Vision 2.1 Pro 1 copy, Norton pcAnywhere 1 copy, Power Translator Professional Russian to/from English for DOS translation software by Globalink, Inc. 2 copies, Perceive Globalink Edition for Windows OCR software 2 copies.
