The contractor shall provide 6,000 feet continuous length fiber optic composite lightpack cable consisting of AT&T product code 3DHX024HXM and 4DHX024BXC or equal. The fiber optic cable must have the following capabilities and/or characteristics: both the Singlemode and Multimode fibers shall be housed in one sheath containing Steel Wire Strength Members in the outer jacket and shall not exceed 1/2 inch for the outside diameter of the cable; the Multimode shall have 24 fibers, with a core diameter of 62.5 microns; cladding diameter of 125 microns; and Maximum Individual Fiber Loss (MIFL), (HXM) attenuation: 3.75db/km @850nm, 1.db/km @1300nm; bandwidth: 160MHz/km @850nm, 500MHz/km @1300nm. The Singlemode shall consist of 24 fibers, with a core diameter of 8.3 microns, and cladding diameter of 125 microns with (MIFL) (BXC) attenuation: 0.35db/km @1310nm, 0.23db/km @1550nm.
