Salient characteristics are Vertical Load Rating - 10,000 lbs, Overturning Moment Rating - 10,000 ft-lbs min., Delivered Torque Rating (Elevation - 10,000 ft-lbs min., Azimuth 2,750 ft-lbs min.), Withstand Torque Rating, (Elevation - 10,000 ft-lbs min., Azimuth - 4,200 ft-lbs min.), Drive Gear Backlash (Elevation - 0.08 degrees, Azimuth - 0.08 degrees), Total Limit-to-Limit Travel, (Elevation - + 95, -45 degrees, Azimuth +- 200 degrees minimum). Salient characteristics are Synchro Input - four axes with optional capability of eight, two speed (1.1 and 36.1), Tachometer Input - provide four axes in standard controller with eight axes opetional that is compatible with EL/AZ positioner. Characteristics for the Local Control Handheld Positioner Controller are that it shall be directly connected to the power amplifier of the antenna positioner controller by a 30 foot cable. The hand held controller shall as a minimum perform the following function : high and low speed enable, axis selection, velocity control and disable.
