R -- TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO DELINQUENCY PREVENTION GRANTEES UNDER THE TITLE V PROGRAM SOL OJP-95-R-003 DUE 061495 POC Barbara J. Watson, Contracting Officer, 202-307-5863. The Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), has a requirement for the services of a contractor to provide nationwide training and technical assistance to States and localities for delinquency prevention planning and programs in support of the Title V program of the JJDP Act. This training will provide States and localities with the information and skills necessary for State and local officials and private citizens to plan and implement prevention strategies and programs. The proposed procurement will be a 29-month effort incrementally funded on a cost-reimbursement basis. The proposed contractor shall provide all professional and technical personnel, clerical services, equipment, facilities and materials necessary to accomplish the specific tasks. The work to be performed includes the following tasks: (1) coordination and scheduling of training events, (2) delivery of key leader training, (3) delivery of risk and resource assessment training, (4) develop and test training for trainers, (5) develop self-instructiion and facilitated group training media, (6) facilitate the provision of technical assistance, and (7) provide special training or presentations as required by OJJDP. Proposal evaluation will emphasize technical approach and past performance. Cost will be secondary in importance.
