POC Sally Kleinman 601-634-3902 Furnish and test one (1) gantry type
circular saw having a 5- ft. diameter blade for sawing concrete or
rock. The main power unit shall be a minimum 50 horsepower electric
motor. The saw saddle shall have an electrically-powered raise and
lower with a minimum of 24-in. of travel. The blade shall have 10-ft.
center- to-center travel on the main saw rail. The gantry rails shall
be designed to mount on existing concrete piers. Gantry movement shall
have an electrically driven rack and pinion type drive with center to
center travel of 10-ft. On-site training at time of installation on
use, operation and maintenance of all components is required. Trade
allowance for existing salvagable property (1955 Tysaman Model #122-C
considered in overall fair condition) is permitted at contractor's
option. Solicitation number DACW39-95-B- 0010 will open on or about May
30, 1995. Plans and specifications are available at no charge. Delivery
