Presolicitation information is requested for project to construct office spaces in buildings 333 and 53C. The work involved will be to provide office space (570 sq ft) in building 333 and modify office space in building 53C by providing new walls and modifying access flooring. Provide lights, electrical outlets, heating, ventilation and air conditioning and fire protection systems in both buildings and incidental work as specified by contract. The Standard Industrial Code for this project is 1542; the small business size standard is $17.0 million. The estimated cost range of this procurement is betwen $25,000 and $100,000. Anticipated performance time is 120 calendar days. Plans and specifications are anticipated to be available on or about 15 June 1995, until supply is exhausted. The proposed solicitation listed here is being considered for 100% small disadvantaged business (SDB) set-aside fir-fixed price contract. When responses to this notice have been evaluated, the solicitation will be synopsized announcing the set-aside determination. At that time requests for plans and specifications will be accepted from all interested businesses. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as posible but not later than 15 days after the appearance of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above IN WRITING the following: evidence of capability to perform, including name and telephone number of references on similar type projects performed in the last three years; a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern; and company's single project and aggregate bonding capability.
