A requirement exists to acquire Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) Common Field-Level Memory Reprogramming (CFMRE) AN/GYQ-75(V)2 equipment and retrofit of the existing 25 units. To meet Air Combat Command's required deployment schedule for AN/GYQ-75(V)2 CFMREs, a sole source award to Texas Instruments is contemplated for the final AMRAAM requirement for 28 CFMRE systems and retrofit of the existing 25 units. A complete technical data package, under Government control, is not available which would allow a competitive procurement.
