This project involves all labor, materials, equipment, travel, and performing all operations required to repair the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system in building 1503, Hanscom AFB as per contract drawing and specifications. The principal items of work include, but are not necessarily limited to demolition and removal of selected items such as suspended ceilings, chase walls and stud framing; removal of existing reinforced concrete floor slabs; cutting concrete slab on grade and installation of a new piping trench; installation of new 4-pipe repair of partitions, soffits and chases; resurfacing of existing walls; electrical connections for new HVAC units; replacement of suspended acoustical ceiling systems and finish carpentry work. The performance period for the basic bid will be 150 calendar days which includes performing work within building in phases. This project includes the following Bid Options. (A.) Option 1, add Building 1507 for which the principal items of work and performance period are the same as the Basic Bid. (B.) Option 2, add Building 1510 for which the principal items of work and performance period are the same as the Basic Bid. (C.) Option 3, add Building 1511 for which the principal items of work and performance period are the same as the Basic Bid. If an option is awarded, each building will be completed consecutively with Building 1503 first. The magnitude for this project is between $1 million and $5 million. All firms responding will indicate on the request letter whether they are or are not a small, woman-owned, or small disadvantaged business concern. (0104)
