Administration has a requirement for the contractor to provide all the
labor, materials, equipment, and other resources necessary to complete
the upgrade of the Williston Substation, Stage 06, located in Williston
County, North Dakota. The estimated order of magnitude of this project
is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be issued
on double-sided, high-density DOS-formatted 3.5-inch floppy diskettes.
The IFB and specifications are formatted using WordPerfect 5.1. The
solicitation may be obtained in one of the following ways: FREE OF
CHARGE: Solicitation/specifications on diskette without drawings;
$10.00 NONREFUNDABLE FEE: Solicitation/specifications on diskette with
drawings on hardcopy; or $20.00 NONREFUNDABLE FEE:
Solicitation/specifications/drawings on hardcopy. (Please indicate your
selection on your written request.) Send a check or money order to the
Department of Energy at the address above. The work includes sitework,
concrete, and metalwork; installing Government-furnished
autotransformers, power circuit breakers, duplex switchboard sections,
and battery system; furnishing and installing selector switches,
disconnecting switches, voltage transformers, current transformers,
station service transformer, distribution panelboards, safety switch,
grounding system, conduit, insulated conductors and cables, bus
systems, substation signs, indoor dc and ac distribution panelboards,
and a 61 x 40 foot building. All work for all the contract line item
numbers must be completed within 365 calendar days after the Agency
issuance of the notice to proceed. All the items will be delivered FOB
destination. There will be only one award made from this solicitation.
Therefore, all bidders must submit their bids on an ''all or none
basis''. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 22, 1995. The
projected bid opening date is on or about June 27, 1995, 2:00 pm local
time. This proposed procurement is unrestricted. All responsible
Business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this
Agency. All requests must be in writing. Information hours are from
