The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to award a contract to TSI, Incorporated of St. Paul, Minnesota for 16 each Aerodynamic Particle Sizer (APS) Optical Assemblies model number APS 3310. Each assembly shall consist of optics, a sensing chamber, a laser power supply, an inlet nozzle and a photo multiplier tube dectector. The assemblies shall meet the Navy's minimum requirement to size and count particles between the ranges of .5 and 30 microns with a bandwidth of .3 microns. The Navy also requires that classified sizes, which are to be detected, shall be transmitted as an analog pulse output to a Navy provided processing unit. See Numbered Note(s): 22. (0102)
