The Aeronautical Systems Center, AGM-130/GBU-15 System Program Office intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole source contract to Magnode Corporation/Valentine & Company for initial and follow-on production of thin-walled complex aluminum extrusions of less than 16 inches in the following configurations and delivery schedules. A technical data package consisting of engineering drawings will be provided. Lot 1 consists of prototype cradle extrusions. Lot 2 consists of container extrusions. Lot 3 consists of production cradle extrusions. Deliveries for Lot 1 will start no more than 6 weeks after contract award. Deliveries for Lot 2 will start no more than 28 weeks after contract award. Production of Lot 3 will begin 20 weeks after contract award and deliveries to start not more than 28 weeks after contract award. This procurement represents materials for a new container to ship and store an all-up-round (AUR) configuration of the AGM-130 system. This action is contemplated in accordance with 10U.S.C.2304(c)(1), Magnode Corporation/Valentine & Company is the only known responsible source that can satisfy the government's requirements. All responsible sources submitting a statement of capability in accordance with Note 22 will be considered. This acquisition is restricted to domestic sources only. Synopsis responses will be screened in the following areas: a. Technical knowledge of thin-wall complex aluminum extrusions, b. Ability to deliver in accordance with the required schedule, c. Previous successful contracts for thin-walled aluminum extrusions for military containers, d. Facilities and adequate resources. Firms responding to this notice should indicate whether or not they are small or small disadvantaged business IAW DoD FAR 52.219-7000. This is not a request for proposal and is not to be construed to be a commitment by the government. Closing date for submission of qualifications is 15 days after the date of publication of this notice.
