66 -- METEOROLOGICAL MEASURING SET AN/TMQ-41 (MMS) AND HYDROGEN GENERATOR (HG) AN/TMQ-42 DUE 042895 POC POC is Mr. Joel Schulman, Project Officer, (908) 544-5882. The US Army CECOM Systems Management Directorate is issuing this market survey to determine potential sources for test and fielding support for the Meteorological Measuring Set and Hydrogen Generator test and fielding support. The effort will consist of providing services (checkout and repair) to support IOTE of the Hydrogen Generator AN/TMQ-42, and fielding support for both the MMS and HG commencing in August 1995. IOTE Support consists of shipping, setup, checkout, repair and refurbishment of the HG. Fielding support for both the MMS and HG consists of setup, checkout and on-site maintenance support. MMS consists of a meteorological processor, signal data converter (for multi-sonde capability), lightweight computer unit, printer, and radiotheodolite integrated into a lightweight multipurpose shelter. The initial systems were developed by Environmental Technologies Group, Inc., Baltimore, MD, under Contract Number DAAB07-93-C-0001. There are no drawings available for this system. The HG is a device that produces hydrogen gas from a methanol-water mixture.
