The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) has a requirement for one (1) Trimble or equal GPS Total Station with associated parts, one (1) Trimble or equal Radio w/Manual Rover, and one (1) kit of accessories to include antenna, cable, battery, and mounting kit. This system will be used to provide near real-time surveying and weapons impact data to multiple flight test programs. This system must be light weight, portable, one man operable, yield high positional accuracy (less than one foot), and near real-time spot survey data. It must provide fine mode accuracies of +/- .03 ft. +2ppm x baseline length in the horizontal plane and +/- .07 ft. +2ppm x baseline in the vertical plane, with a maximum baseline of 6.2 miles. These accuracies must be provided within 3 seconds of initiation, at survey and control points which are not line of sight. Other unique features include low power requirements and .25 megabytes of data storage with E1A-RS-232 serial port for computer down loading of 6 data channels.
